As a Systems Administrator at CareDx AB, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless IT operations and delivering an exceptional experience for our users. This hands-on role requires a balance of technical expertise and strategic thinking to continually improve the company's IT services and user journeys. You’ll take ownership of IT services across the local office, lab operations, and remote personnel, all within a dynamic environment. Your contributions will directly impact the organization by making data-driven decisions and partnering with other IT leaders to optimize global IT support, incident resolution, process improvement, and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Service Management:
Own and manage IT operations supporting the local office, lab operations, and remote workers on a global scale. -
Technology Solutions:
Implement and oversee technology solutions that align with the company’s strategic and tactical objectives and meet regulatory requirements. -
Infrastructure Management:
Partner with IT leadership to manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and compliance systems. - Collaboration:
Work closely with business groups and stakeholders to assess technology needs, evaluate potential solutions, and drive system upgrades or new implementations.

Performance Monitoring:
Track IT system performance metrics, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability. -
Escalation & Resolution:
Manage the escalation of complex technical issues, ensuring they are resolved by the appropriate teams or subject matter experts. -
User Training & Support:
Provide end-user training on IT systems, applications, and products to enhance user adoption and productivity. -
Project Participation:
Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new software, hardware, and tools. -
Downtime Management:
Collaborate with relevant teams to minimize the impact of planned downtimes on users, ensuring proper communication and planning. -
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
Create and maintain documentation, including (KB) knowledgebase articles, support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and guides for resolving common technical issues. -
Industry Trends:
Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies to continually improve IT service delivery and user experiences.
Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and application support in a corporate environment. -
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of networking, servers, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity technologies. Proven experience supporting lab operations in life sciences or testing services is essential. -
Problem-Solving & Multi-tasking:
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. -
On-Call Availability:
Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support for urgent issues and critical projects as needed.
Preferred Experience:

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Technology Proficiency:
- Experience with Windows Server, SharePoint, and O365/M365.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Intune.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or other providers.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
